The law is simple with number plates - if it's not a UK white/yellow reflective acrylic plate with the correct spacing and typeface then it's illegal.

There's no halfway. All our plates are sold as show plates.

You are legally able to display the pressed black/silver plates on vehicles registered before 1974.

It's only legal on cars up to a certain age, there is a Lotus Europa not far from me with black plates on it.

It sticks out a fair bit more than a German style'd one right enough.
