Just stumbled across this, no idea how reliable it is, it could be complete BS but I thought I'd share...

http://www.autoevolution.com/news/seat-ibiza-cupra-r210-with-210-hp-coming-to-geneva-31685.html

Spanish carmaker SEAT will also attend the 2011 Geneva Auto Show that will open its doors to the press next week and, although it has no new models to display there, the carmaker will show some variations of its existing vehicles.

One of these would be the so-called Ibiza Cupra R210, a more powerful Ibiza that will be powered by a 1.4-liter TSI engine outputting a maximum of 210 horsepower.

Apologies if it's already been posted, did a search and didn't see anything.

Yeah - sounds like it's just a power increase, and even if they do make it different, it probably will just be a few gloss black bits like the LCR. And that's if they even bring it to the UK

I dont take a website that has "Charlie Sheen Buys Bentley, Porsche for Sex Buddies" as other news items serious.
So far, all these car fanboy websites keep saying MAYBE POLO/CUPRA R. And none of them come with any reliable source whatsoever.

Completely agree, and as I said it could be complete BS, but with Geneva only round the corner we don't have long to wait to find out if it's true or not. I'm not holding my breath.

They may put the OEM body kit as standard on the Cupra R if they do it too I think and xenons standard. You will pay a premium for it however.
