General Crossover Question

Hi folks,

So I have been running my FocalKP's for some time now. However, when I installed them, I noticed that the tweeters did not fit in the door where the original tweeters were. So, I didn't waste a lot of time and just left the original tweeters in there as they sound good enough for me. (They are still running directly from HU).

Right now I just placed the Focal tweeters in the trunk connected to the crossovers. My question is, will the crossovers get damaged if I just run the speakers over them and not the tweeters?
