gears sticking

my gears have become harder to shift, less smooth i think. and the gears to the left of the gear box especially hard and are catching on something and is sometimes hard to get in place. 1st and 2nd are quite bad and reverse even worse (furthest left).

what does this mean? is something bad about to happen?

it is a 2nd hand 52 plate LCR, ive only had the car less than a year. but it has done a lot of miles already.

dont know about abusing the box lol, but i wouldnt say ive been very careful with it. how do u get oil into the gearbox? is it a garage job? thanks

Well i think you just do it your self. but not sure as i havent done it. Its like changing engine oil.
