A few months back my flywheel went and so did my gearbox at the same time. I got the flywheel and clutch plus the gearbox changed. They fitted the shim that is meant to fix the common fault with my gearbox. I have been driving it today and everything seems fine. It has been parked up for a couple of hours and when I went to drive it home I had no gears. It would not go into any gear. But when the car was turned off I could select all the gears fine. I managed to drive it home without any problems I just had to keep the car moving and change the gears carefully and at the right time. It is only when the car is on and not moving is when I can't change gears.
Any ideas what the problem could be.
