When im pulling away in 1st gear it seems to be really noisy, all the other gears are fine but this sounds like a very strange rubbing/grinding type noise while its in first gear, there doesnt appear to be any problems with the drive from it but the noise is slightly worrying so ive been trying to avoid using 1st gear for now until i figure out what the problem is.

the noise i get is like one of those daft kids who jam a crush can between the frame and back tyre of there bike to make it rub.

ive done a gearbox, well broke the selector arm in the box for first gear, and i couldnt engage first gear, but all the rest were fine, but if i tried to force it in gear, while someone was also forcing the selector ontop of the gearbox, it would go in, but only just, and while it was in first, the sound was awful, but as i pulled away, and changed out, it wouldnt engage first again, so i had the box reconditioned

Can't be as bad as the situation I'm in.

Spent thousands on the turbo kit, engine, LSD.... and just after doing 40 miles of the first 500miles running in (with the N75valve disconnected), somethings gone bang in the gearbox and now that needs fixing.
