My clutch pedal was a bit spongy the other week and wasnt coming back up to the top after releasing it so i decided to bleed it to see if there was any air in the system, this is when the problems began!

Couldnt get the clutch to bleed and ending up having to buy a new clutch master cylinder as the seals inverted in the old one.
Fitted it and it took me ages to get the air out but managed to get a good pedal in the end.

Now ever since i have fitted it when the car is left overnight or for a long period of time and the engine/gearbox is cold i cant get it into gear without really forcing it in and if i try to get reverse it goes it with a crunch of the box! once i have got it into 1st gear for the first time it goes a bit easier but still a bit notchy. After 10 mins of driving and everything has warmed up the gears are fine and the pedal feels fine. This is really annoying and will end up destroying the box if left but arent really sure the cause of the problem so any help would be appreciated please. cheers

yeah mine feels like that untill it is warm too. It just seems a bit strange as if it was just an air lock u would think it would be like this constantly and not just in the mornings. When its warm it is perfect and goes in all gears easily. I had to pressure bleed it but still took a while to get the air out.

mine is booked in for the 26th of this month. £480 worth of repairs!!!!! but it has to be done i guess :( its a high mileage car, 114,000, so want it to get repaired by SEAT so the work has some sort of guarantee.
