Gear Linkage cables?

Got an X reg TDI SE, with 133k on the clock, got full SSH, and never missed a beat...until now.

At first i thought it was maybe the clutch, but, the gears seem hard to engage, and the clutch pedal seems to be the right sort of height where the bite point is for it not to be the clutch at fault...

Anyone had problems with the linkage cables seizing, or sticking?

Cheers

that sounds like the clutch to me, if its on its way out it might not be disengaging properly and make the gears hard to find!

hmm, this is true, you would expect the clutch to get progressivley worse until suddenly ou find you cant change gear at all.
