maybe 7500 because of milege but more realistically 6500-7000...mods dont make any difference really unless the right buyer comes along who knows that they would have to spend the extra money to get the same mods on another car

I'd say around £6500 - £7000 quite easily! Mines on a 2001 Y reg, with a few minor mods and full service history with 61k, I'd hope to get around the mid to late £5k. you should check out the autotrader and see how much some of those duff traders are charging!!

but whos gonna pay 8 grand for a cupra cos its got mods...iv seen numerous IHI ibizas stuggling to go for 8k...its just too high...i think martyn asked for just over 8k with low miles and his was a cupra R...and even then im not sure if cupra jeff met martyns asking price

im sorry but ur being foolish if u think u can add modification value to the cars value. even a mod in such high demand as an fmic

£7500 maximum
a garage would offer u about £4k...probably even less

Martyns car was up for £8500

I never said i wanted 8k.

Im merely stating what some are going for on autotrader and if someone really wants a low mileage cupra they can pay good money.

Don't think theres a mark 3 cupra on here with lesser miles??

Its also got warranty until Feb 2007.

If i really wanted to ask good money i'd just put it up for £7500 take the FMIC off and sell the FMIC for £450 on its own

well £7500 +fmic =£8K (ish)

but just cos theyre up for that price doesnt mean anyone will pay it...take a look at the comedian trying to sell his max power style cupra, hes on auto trader and on here and wanted like nearly 9grand to start with  brought the price down now though

i think removing the valuable mods would be a smart thing to do and ud get more money at the end of the day cos most private buyers wont appreciate the mods value...for instance...id snap ur hand of for the fmic at 450 if i had the money (sadly i dont at the moment). someone sold theres for around that price not long ago

sometimes its harder to sell a modded car, as i found out with my last one. but yours is sensibly modded and i dont see any probelsm getting rid. and to be honest if i was looking now yours is somehting i'd of been looking for. i'd say 6500-7000 tops due to the milage

I bought my 2002 cupra a few weeks ago for £7200 but then thats only because it had the mods I wanted on it already like suspension, induction kit and exhaust. It also came with dash conversion so it has a CD player instead of the tape player. Like was said earlier in the thread its down to what a buyer will pay for.

I would prob have FMIC off you tho. :D

Reckon u would get £7000 for it no worries;)

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If your not in a hurry to sell put it up for 7kish but it could be a while before the right person comes along. If your in a hurry then you'd have to drop the price

aint being funny but when you spend 8k on the car then i think you can ask for more, that maxpower car as you so call it is my baby[:@] the only reason i dropped the price is cause i need a quick sale. so next time u have a little giggle at someones exspence why dont you think about wat you say, YOU :censored:
