Apologies now if this has been covered before but I wanna get boost and oil temp gauges soon but was wondering, do I need a mechanical oil temp gauge and electrical boost? Or both mechanical?

Thanks,
Marc.

I've got an electronic boost and electronic oil temp gauge, although I do need to get an adaptor for the oil temp sender sorted out.

You can check mine out at jbs on the 20th if you want marc, i'm pleased with them, for the gauges and twin nomad pod it cost me around £145.

Cool, are the autometers mechanical gauges then.
You'll have fun fitting the TIP aswell, bit awkward to fit, make it easier by removing the bolt that holds the metal water pipe to the block and pull the metal pipe away from block to give yourself more room to feed tip onto the turbo.

Yeah. They do sell electronic gauges but when I went to look at them, I preffered the look of the mechanical/analogue gauges. Thanks for the advice on the TIP. I've got a mate helping me too, so more hands make light work. Sometimes....

From reading other peoples posts, it seems to have taken people about 2/3 hours. I'll let you know tomorrow!

Yeh it took me around 2 or so hours to get it to fit how I wanted it, plus I did it on my driveway at night with a lead lamp lol, so visibility wasn't the best.

What pod have you gone for, I can recommend the Nomad, some dispute the quality but I can't fault mine. Heres a Pic

They are Prosport Electronic stepper motor gauges from xyberautos.com link HERE.

Great gauges can be illuminated white or orangey/red which matches original dash illumination rather well.
