You will be lucky mate! People have been waiting for the disks for ages. Leda are one of the main uk suppliers and they have been promising the disks for ages.

Qutroman did a group buy on pads a while ago and results seem to be very good.

Where did you get your prices from? as that seems uber cheap

quattroman here,
just to let you all know, I only have 6 sets of standard 1045 pads left for LCR- no 1055s left I'm afraid- all gone long time ago-but anyone doing a track day soon I have 2 sets of 1065 (racing) pads left.
Pm me if anybody wants them.
quattroman

Ps like to know how montana83 can get the grooved discs and I cant -after all the messing about I did for Leda during and after the group buy.

Galfer make their own discs in various quality and types ranging from their DFA standard type to DFT ( grooved ) and DFX (two piece 'extreme') http://www.galfer.es/ANG/p_auto_dfa.html
Not the same as Brembo.
However Galfer also make some of the calipers for AP and Brembo. Hence why you will start to see AP Galfer stamped on some 4 and 6 pot calipers.

I was only relating to montana83 in that he said he could get the discs and pads for LCR from Galfer when I have been trying for ages -6 months - to get any answer out of Leda / Galfer for suppling LCR discs in any type other than 2-piece extreme (which are available)
seems that someone at Leda is not giving the whole story.....

I'm afraid the situation is still the same on the discs as before. Galfer do produce them but not for the disc size used in the UK. We are pushing them to produce them for the UK market as we know there is demand. We will let you know as soon as we have some good news.

Cheers

Ah, it becomes a bit clearer now. You have bought these through our agent for Galfer brakes. I thought it was a bit odd when you said you received them yesterday and I remembered shipping a set out the day before.

To clear up the confusion (which I must admit was confusing me to), this is the situation. The Leon Cupra R is available in 2 brake specs, 00-03 Brembo calipers and 312mm discs. From 2003 SEAT fitted 322mm discs and used the same Brembo caliper, this disc is not available. The earlier SEAT Leon Cupra (not designated R) 99-00 uses the 312mm disc but with a Teves single piston floating caliper.

Sorry to be picky its 323 for the Cupra R. as i think thats where most of the confusion comes from. Also you could get the Cupra R in europe without brembos (but is still classed as the R)
