Fusebox meltdown (on battery)

What could have caused a meltdown of the fusebox which is on top of the battery?

The fuse for the ac has completely melted into the fusebox (fuse was stil working)
I had it replaced by the dealer and they have never seen such a thing.

the fusebox itself, ive seen a few , i know cupra-neil had a similar thing, they wrote his car off because of the damage.

i was told by main dealer that mine had melted...........checked it myself and its mint!!! Probably melt now though...
