I have had revo stage 1 now for about a month or so am im loving it but i have just noticed that im gettin a funny boost reading when i go about 5k. When i put my foot down the boost kicks in and my boost gauge reads 18psi but as i get higher up the rev range the boost starts to tail off and by the time i had 5k or about it holds at about 10psi which im sure aint right? Any ideas?

I have access to Vag - Com but i havent really got a clue what logs i could run or what i should be looking for. By the way i have currently got the boost set at setting 6 and the timing at 5. Should i maybe up the boost and timing.

What boost and timing are other running on Revo stage 1?

Please if any 1 can help it would be great!

Is this normal for cars which are running the K03 then?

This might sound really stupid but how do i log that using vag com?

on old sps3. low boost 9 is normal setting. (new settings are one range 0-9, 6 being equivalent to old lb9)

vag-com guides in vag-com section. worth reading them first.
k03 is a small turbo... it does not hold boost at top end.. incable to flow enough air at those rpms

Ibizacupra - thanks for your help, i have the oldered version of the SPS3 therefore it has the high and low boost setting. Should i set both high and low boost the same? When you say 9 is normal do you mean stock settings? Im currently got boost on 6 and timing 5. Do you think it would be safe to but the boost and timing up a bit or am i just asking for trouble?

lb6 should be lb9 for stock settings in old sps3 money
ign 5 is ok for 97ul fuel
you either adjust lb settings or hb ones... not both. whichever you adjusted last is what it will have set to.

do you have access to vag-com to go logging things?

if you "ask" for too much, ecu will pull back out again, safeties remain in place.

Im running on V-Power fuel, so do u think it would be worth adjusting the hb then or is it best to stick to the lb? I was thinking of going lb6 , timing 6? what u think?

same answer as posted in revo section.

lb9 is std setting. ign on 6 is for 98octane fuel..
you can try the hb4 and see what you think, but you should adjust with vag-com logging to check whats working from whats not
