Hi. I have a weird situation with my LCR CDLA engine. I noticed poor gas mileage and randomly, I get a P0172 - System too Rich error code as pending.
No issues starting the engine when cold or warm, no misfire on any cylinder, no stuttering or jerking when accelerating hard.
STFT goes negative when idle and stays there, as soon as I start accelerating or under constant speed it goes to normal values (-5% and +5% range), I stop accelerating, boom, STFT goes back to very negative values...
I replaced HPFP with a new one cause I thought it might leak gas into oil, didn't help.
I unplugged MAF sensor, didn't help (I don't get error codes for MAF being unplugged, idk why tho)

Can someone explain to me why IDLE trim is negative (-6.6%) and PARTIAL trim is positive (+12.5%)
Shouldn't IDLE trim go positive as well, just like PARTIAL trim? Confused with these trims...
