fuel pump upgrade?

hi all, im kinda stuck inbetween my k04 conversion on my ibiza with the fuel pump.
is the standard fuel pump ok to use with the k04 or will i need to get a leon cupra r one? also if i was to get a walbro 255 inline pump how do u exactly fit them in?
help needed thanks.:shrug:

Bit more work than just dropping it in the tank if you use an S3 as it uses two picks due to it being used on a 4wd car.

How about the LCR pump? Thats what im running on my car, got it from ECP aswell. Its the Pierberg one, not sure on the spelling though

Depending on what FPR you intend to use (i.e. who maps it) you may not need an uprated pump for a K04 conversion.

Running a 4 bar FPR will place more strain on the pump which if old/worn can consequently sag under load and cause you to run lean, not ideal. Much better to stick with the 3 bar FPR in these instances.

As Phil mentioned the S3 and TT BAM variants will have twin feeds and require modification, it's easier to go with an LCR one if necessary, OR run a Bosch in-line pump which can handle much greater pressures anyway.

by far the easiest/best solution for increased fuel delivery is to add an inline bosch 044 or equivalent pump
far easier than accessing the in tank pump and hassle

as per the thread in my section, fuel pump fittings
