When I tried filling up (on the red) the fuel flap didn't open when pressed, even after unlocking the whole car multiple times. I've read it's likely a solenoid malfunction and I tried all the common solutions; tapping around the area, unlocking multiple times while pressing it, holding it in and unlocking, and nothing has worked. I've even checked the central locking fuse and switched it with another one even though both haven't blown. There's not even a way in to the area through the boot and the only way to replace the actuator is under the fuel door.
I'm confident in changing the part if I could even get in to the area!
Is there anything I could try before I rip the whole flap off...
Thanks.
