Hello peeps,

Got in the car this morning, car warmed up fine, went to drive away, and it feels like the brakes are still on!!! Parked it and had a very cold walk to work!

Can't be the cold....can it?

Any ideas!

Cheers!

pads could have bonded to the discs, moving off and then applying the brakes would probably have been enough to correct this.

^^^ what he said.

When I had my LCR this happened quite often and sometimes (particularly after washing the car or heavy rain) you would have to give it a quite a few revs to unstick them.

Cheers guys, I will try that later, I did drive to the top of my road and back this morning, the hand brake feels a bit loose, it may even be the cable for this, let you know!

I had the same happen to mine on friday! I had visions of new brake calipers and the rest, but it thawed out by the afternoon.

I dont blame the poor wee car for not wanting to move because we had tempatures of -7.2 C on friday morning up here in!
