Front suspension creaks like an old boat

Just had the lower arms and bushes replaced on the car.
Everything was fine for a few days but bugger me, it creaks more than my old man now and seems to be getting worse!

Anything I can do about this? It's not just irritating but can be quite embarrassing as well!

Makes my car sound like it's over 50 years old.

Go nuts with WD40, sorts most squeeks.

Bushes standars or aftermarket dont usually squeek, they might take a while to bed in or posibly they are too big (dosnt need to be much) or they are clamped too tight and rubbing.

If somone else other than you did the work then go back to them and tell them somthings wrong.

look for a post called creaking coilovers or something like that, should only be a few pages back. Might be of help.

Thanks all.

I've spoken to the garage that fitted them and was told "we don't do rattles and squeakes"!!!!!!! After a bit of badgering, though, they've agreed to look at it when they fit a new rear hub for me at the end of the month.

Might have a go with the WD40 to see if it sorts it out, if only temporarily.
