Front Speakers

hi guys,

the speakers and components dont have any sounds comeing out of them, they are phoenix gold speakers etc with fosgate wiring.

How do i test to see if its not broken speakers?

If it isnt these, what could it be, i dont know a thing about ice.

You have most likely got a broken / disconnected wire - without replacing it and with little ICE/electrical knowledge there's no easy suggestion

There is your problem... you need Phoenix Gold wiring with Phoenix Gold speakers... or Fosgate speakers with Fosgate wiring....



ICE isnt THAT hard to sort out. Just get an altometer, £6 .. disconnect your battery and check for breaks.

the speakers wont be broken i shouldnt think, to check get an AA battery and connect wires to each end and then 'spark' them to the connections on the speakers. They wont spark but couldnt think of a better way to describe it... like striking a match. it should just crackle a bit. then youll have to look at the wiring if it works.

follow the wires from the back of the stereo, and see where they go. everything should be plugged up, i think i unplugged my dashboard tweeters and the other fronts stopped too, so make sure they are plugged in, and then have a look at the back of the new speakers

If it's a decent system it COULD damage it. £6 for an altometer... or replacing your system ...

lol. itll be fine, mind you i probably wouldnt do it to mine either, not now anyway, i just know it works thats all, i think i learnt that in year 6 maybe
