Front speaker size in Cupra

Guys, I'm ordering a new set of components for the Ibiza, I have subs & amps and rear coaxials ready to go in. Can anyone please tell me the max size of front components that will fit in a brand new Ibiza Cupra?

16.5 cm i belive thats the siza of the standard ones but watch out for speakers that sit out a fair bit as they foul on the door cards

yeh I think ya will have to get some kind of mdf plate to space the speaker, this is what im doing next week...made new MDF ones for the rear because the metal one sounded very bad, n speakers didnt fit properly...took a few hours work but sounds better for it now

also speakers are riveted in grrrr

i did front and back in my old one due to the hassel im not botherig in this one lol!

yeh it was a pain! but its made out of nice thick mdf now, and its made the speakers sound much better. Running infinity components in the rear, and awaiting delivery of my raindbow componenets for the front. doing plates on Tuesday i hope.

I think the standard system is pants, especailly compared to my previous bora standard system...oh well!!

i have no base on the main speakers just trebble and then have sub on full base and sound mint so not going to bother now lol but standard ones dont have much bass in them really

im trying to avoid a sub if i can, so need the quality to be quite good...if i have to go for a sub it will be one of those small active ones like alpine or infinity do i think

Iv had a broken door speaker since i got the car...so thats not helped too much!

yea suppose that dunt help mines a vibe active 10 inch one noty to big just right for the size of car
