front seatbelts

I'm sick of my front seatbelts not retracting properly, they were changed under warranty ages ago, but now it has run out . Can I swap them with the rear ones and if so I imagine it to be a lot of work?

Is this a common problem?
Mine only retract if I push the guide on the pillar exit hole back to a horizontal position instead of being at an angle

try unwinding the whole seatbelt till the end and slowly retract back in if problem persists take the b pillar trim off and remove seat belt from mount at top and bottom and try and see what is ristricting it normally this can also be caused by missing washers ect!

Don't think that there is anything catching or restricting mine its simply not strong enough to retract if the outlet slot is not horizontal so causing a little extra resisitance

worth a check tho mate could be missing washers ect? would try unwinging whole length of belt because if a bit is slightly creased or folded it can cause the roller not to unwind wind as good
