as some of you might know i have been making a intercooler with a friend , graham from grs motorsport !

well it's on fitted and working (well) !!!!!!!!!!!!

before i was seeing charge temps of 70 degrees c at full throttle 16-17 psi and know i have it too 21.9 degrees c , and the car has/feels like it had more torque . not had it rr'd yet as it was only finished last night .the system is a twin pass system using the standard intercooler as well

all mesurements have been mesured on the same road / hill (to make the engine work hard ) at the same approx ambient temp 12-9 degrees c .

anyway here is a picci , the fog light is out at the mo as it was hitting a boost hose , this will be sorted soon but like i said it's still in the testing stage .

FMIC looks great, dont think your number plate will last very long though.... Plod are having a BIG clampdown at the moment.

Incase your interested my Leon R runs a consistent 40°C on Revo low boost 9 timing 7.

you do have to move the rad as im sure you know ! and the only thing you need to chop is part of a bracket (i.e excess material )

the kit will be around £365 + p+p including 2 samco hoses .

and leons arn't too much of a problem on charge temps or so iv'e been told . but it is on an ibiza as stated . and as for plates i keep a spare set in the boot . "opps sorry mate iv'e just come back from a car show lol"

I would agree it will "probably" give better results than the smic that forge can supply for the ibiza simply because of its installation location and size difference.
The main thing for everyone will be can you be doing with all the extra hassle of installation when compared to that of the forge that is a straight forward swop.

still its a very good price for an intercooler and I like the sound that it retains and uses the standard ic also.

im not kidding you it does take time to fit it , but it has great results ! if you are macanicly mined you will be able to fit it on your own and would take about 3-4 hours and as for warrenty im affraid it will all depend on your dealer !!!
