Front hub nut size??

Hi peep's, replacing the clutch on the altea bkc 1.9 TDI and just need to know the size of this nut, 30mm is way to big cheers guys

Easiest way to find out is just measure across two flats of the hexagon head of the bolt in millimetres and that is the size of socket you need.

Right guys I've got to here and wondered if I should go SMF instead of dmf? What's your views peep's. Apart from the kit did I need anything else for the conversion?

Cheers speed-freek didn't need to remove it in the end .
I've now completed the clutch replacement​ and went for a velco SMF kit at £233 if anyone's​ thinking of doing this then it's a big "YES" smooth and quite, no judder really happy. Cheers peep's
