Sorry if it's repeating, but I did not find it anywhere using search.

How to remove front head rest??
I search for any hole in plastic piece near the seat back (to insert anything inside and pull out), I searched for any hidden button inside seat back (to press it and pull out), did not find anything and was not able to pull out front passanger head rest.
Any really "stupid" guide, maybe with pictures?
Thank you so much!

Btw - FR ST MY2015, so sport seats.......

I don't think you can, the rear ones do, but unlike the rear ones the front ones move up and down on the silver metal poles, so you can't remove them as the poles are fixed inside the seat back :)

Really? I thought there will be some kind of "trick" how to remove them. Like hidden button, small hole or whatever.
As I know it is possible in Golf VII and Octavia as well. But in both cases "trick" has to be applied.

They mount it in at SEAT somehow so they have to go out as well...

I might be wrong, but I never managed to get them out of any of my leons or any car I've had in the last few years.
Maybe a safety thing, to stop old duffers removing them as soon as they leave the showroom, cos they don't like headrests , and then snapping their necks when they inevitable crash into something/everything ;):D

Just had a look, it does appear if you push the material down around the plastic ring on the seat back, where the metal pole goes through, there is a pin on the underside, don't know if pulling or pushing that out or in on each side will alow the headrest to be removed?
Obviously you do this at your own, but might help if you really need to get your headrests out

You can remove them, it's not easy as the buttons are really small and hard to push, you need to pull down the upholstery a little bit and plastic ring will reveal itself and you will be able to locate a little button. It's hard as you need to push the headrest up and at the same time push the button - use screwdriver or something hard as you will destroy your fingers trying to push it. I have custom made covers and it took me a while to figure out where those little buttons are but once you'll find them you'll find a way to pull them out.. Oh and it's on the one without the button to regulate the position of headrest.

ladasik, could you please make a pic which button to press??

The only reason why to put them out is when you need to transport long item. When you fold down rear seats, move front seat to the front as far as possible and fold back seat, the front head rest will still hinder in the way....
Classic seats can be fitted with folding mechanism (item PAD in price list), so it is not a problem, but it is not available for sport seats FR model. They have different shape of course, so not possible to fold them down.

Thanks for that ladasik,

I asked the same question on here some time ago, but no one thought they were removable, so I didn't bother anymore.

Now I find I can, much appreciated mate.

Thank you ladasik sooo much!!

I have these buttons under both plastic holes, both metal foots of head rest needs to be released by pressing them. It worked like a charm!
No need to press them simultaneously, just be sure to press one, move metal foot at least 1mm up and not to press it back. Then press second one and easily slide head rest out.
