hey guys ,im a new member here, so im still finding my way around.

i drive a mk3 seat leon fr

was wondering if you guys can help me as im having no luck myself, my girlfriend drove the car home from work today, straight through a pheasant, and its safe to say i now have a gaping hole in my front grille.

so far i have been able to find a replacement grille, but im worried its not the right grille as my car is an fr model

my questions are:
is there a difference between the grille on the fr and a standard leon? if so does anyone know the correct part number for the fr variant

can you get a de-badged front grille for a mk3 leon? and again if so where could i get one ?

thanks in advance guys

hopefully i can get this sorted soon

Hi guys, just to let you all know I've rang up the dealership and they quoted £186.69 for a fr variant front radiator grille which is without badges and trim. new badges are £25 and a chrome trim is £18

Safe to say one of the most expensive pheasant incidents I've had :(

Ouch. I collected a magpie a while back in the lower grill. Punched a hole in it.

Bought a replacement from eBay, it too was damaged (though not as badly) - fixed it up with some sugru and a paper clip, now sitting in my porch ready to go on the car.

There is a difference between the grill on the fr and other models, to do with the emblem - the fr one has a moulded space to stick the fr logo on.

Have a look at the fourth photo here, you'll see what I mean about the emblem : http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=430190

Yeah I think I'm going to end up buying a standard grille and put that on. And just buy a bolt on logo and fit that in sort of the right place hopefully that will keep me happy I found a standard grille on eBay last night for £70 so a much cheaper remedy
