Front Grill Mod

Just had a little time to kill and thought I would load a picture of the front of my Mk3 into paintshop pro and get an idea of what the front of the car would look like with a revised grill section underneath the bonnet. I think it changes the whole look of the front of the car.

I am quite liking mod number 1 with the horizontal middle section but now after a while of looking at the pics mod 2 & 3 are now growing on me as well. What do you reckon looks good?

I think mod number 3 looks a little bit like a Renualt car or looking a bit like a Mk1 Fiat Punto.

for #3 i was thinking alfa, but i hate it...really dont like it
#1 looks different and i dont hate the idea
but #2 not sure on either

i think if i was in that position, the only mod id consider to the front grille would be debadging it really

Looks meaner standard IMHO.... Maybe get the chrome surrounds to bring it out a bit?

Meaner yes, bit I want it to look a little sleeker.

Yeah I like those chrome surrounds. Any Idea where you can buy those ones aftermarket? - do you have to get them from SEAT?

A lot of other newer cars have the bonnet down to the bumper with a narrow grill (is it grill or grille?). Maybe they have been redesigned to deflect the airflow better.

number 3 reminds me of a "bad boy bonnet" definatly a no go...
