Front Caliper Sticking?

Hi all,

I recently bought an 07 FR 2.0TFSI & replaced the rear right brake caliper as it was sticking (much hotter than other side).

Prior to this, the car had red calipers/holders on passenger side, so I do think they were replaced as the factory ones are grey iirc...

I've noticed now that the front right disc gets a bit hotter than the front left side. It can only be noticed when I place my finger directly on the disc itself.

I do have a slight leak in my front right tyre but I'm not sure if the tyre leak would cause a noticeable difference in temps.

Anybody think it'll need a new front caliper or just change tyre and then see from there?

NB I don't think the disc is warped either as it hasn't been under extremely harsh temps/braking.

TIA.

Replace the caliper.

You might get away with just stripping and re-greasing the sliding pins, but given the age of the car it's quite likely you've got some corrosion on the piston causing it to stick.
