front brake discs/pads

Hoping for some advice. Does anyone know if Audi S R or TT front discs and pads will fit my 2001 Leon 20V1.8 TS ? Size of disc seems the same but don't know about the pads. Any advice appreciated.

Great stuff !! Thanks a lot - just a stupid female OAP having a go and learning as she goes !!!!!! Did the pads fit OK ? I was thinking of getting a Mintex TT Disc/Pad kit quite cheaply.

Was there a difference in the disc circumference and width between the 180bhp & 225bhp models?

I think the Top Sport is the forign Cupra or FR so I would say yes

Unless TS is Turbo sport?

Thanks for the interest. My car Registration book says it is a Leon 20V Turbo Sport, but it has a Cupra badge on the back. It's 180 bhp too. So what does all that mean. ???? I think it's the model before the Cupra - it may have been rebranded as the Cupra, but it causes lots of problems when I want to replace service items. The Motor Factors are showing my discs as 288mm but they are in fact 312mm, as I have measured them. So don't know what to do about it now. Will the Audi TT discs fit do u think??

The 180bhp TT discs are 312 same as the Cupra discs, they will fit fine

I presume the 225bhp TT has bigger discs like the Cupra R?

No idea about the bigger discs !!! My car looks EXACTLY like yours - same colour etc - but it's X Reg, with 16" original alloys. Should I be getting the Audi TT 1.8 T Quattro discs ?

All the 312x25 5x100 discs are the same

I don't understand all the talk about TT discs? why don't you just order the proper 312mm Cupra discs?
