Advisory Notice issued
Offside Front Anti-roll bar has slight play in a ball joint

I was just flicking through this web site http://www.motinfo.gov.uk/internet/jsp/ECHID-Internet-History-Request.jsp pretty good as you can check past MOT's!

Basically i was reading through mine it all adds up thankfully but i came across this comment now that was on the 37671miles service the car now has just under 42000, now it worried me a little but is this something that could turn into a major problem?

slight play, I work at a garage when our vans are MOT'd and any advisories and slight play is given they are ignored until next MOT tbh.

All my MOT have no advisories and passed but they have entered my mileage wrong on the last one says 50k when its 40k!

Not going to turn in to a major problem to be honest. If it gets worse you will probably start to hear a slight knocking noise over bumps. Then its time to get it sorted!

Sort of digging up an old thread here but my car has started making noises when im going over potholes now im thinking it must be this Offside Front Anti-roll bar has slight play in a ball joint!

Basically how much roughly would it cost to get this replaced also would it be worth while doing anything else while this is being done?

Any help is appreciated

anti roll bars dont have ball joints they have a pivot point (drop links) which is probally the problem or it is an actual ball joint which is separate from the roll bar.
if it is the drop links id replace them both and while your there get the anti roll bar bushes changed if they havent been done before.
