I'm glad to find a Cupra forum. No matter if an english speaking one, since there's no french one (yet at least).
Thus, I apologize, if my English is not perfect.
My wife is a Formentor owner since last February (coming from an Audi Q3 Mk1).
She bought a VZ e-hybrid 245HP version. It's roughly 6000km on the clock already.
On my side, I'm so to say a 'VAG boy', since I had formerly 2 Audi A3 mk2, 1 Skoda Superb Estate Mk2 and currently I drive a Skoda Superb Estate Mk3 (TDI190 4x4)
But I'm still open for a brand change, if I find a car that convinces me.
I've made some little 'upgrades' on our Formentor:
- 4 rubber foot mats ans well as double sided boot mat (textile / rubber)
- Backrest protections for front seats (against possibles scratches with shoes)
- 4 tyres valves with Cupra logo.
- 4 red door reflectors (stickers actually), since I was disappointed to notice there's no light, nor reflector. Not very safe when you open a door in the dark.
- Wider washer tank cap replaced by a Skoda one
- Installed 2 bonnet actuators
- 4 door hinge covers
- 4 door hook covers
- Anti-rodent ultrasonic box in the engine bay.
Still on my to do list:
- Dual dashcam installation
- Several VCDS mods.
