FR130 Caravan towing

Has anyone towed a caravan (MTPLM 1600kg) with a FR 130? How did it tow, did it have enough power?

That's a heavy tow and right on the weight limit, any stability issue could be very bad.

I personally wouldn't try it and in addition the 130 engine torque is very low for a 1.5, compared to the 150, it's going to be very slow up hills.

Ah yes, my bad. Forgot to take 85%of that which is 1360kg. At the moment we tow a trailer tent which has a max load of 750kg, so I'm think the 130 FR will be fine. I was just wondering what it tows like for a larger load for future reference.

I drive the 1.5 Xcellence eTSI 150bhp, ST with DSG. Max towing mass is 1500kg. How come you guys can get 100kg more on a 130bhp engine?
