sorry for being rude WELCOME TO SCN!!!!!

i bought my cupra 180 about a year ago now when i was 18 cost me an arm and a leg to run and insure it but it is worth every penny!!!!!!!! i love it normal moans that people have about the car are noisey cockpit- roadnoise/interior creaks and squeeks steamed up front headlamps and there quite juicey but im not fussed cos its damn quick and can get great gains from the 1.8 20v turbo

hi welcome to scn i wouldnt bother changing the car you will lose to much money, that you could use making your car like the cupra, ie bumpers wheels and so on

you would lose 2k getting a cupra as its alot more expensive than the fr also insurance is alot more on petrol cupra to an fr tdi the tdi can be mapped to 180 on standard turbo and thats pretty quick, you can run 220 on the standard injectors but need a bigger turbo and have it mapped

my insurance wouldnt charge any extra for bumpers but he has said he is just after performance and group 9 insurance to group 15 is alot! but cupra would be better to mod if you had one from the start but now you have the fr tdi i would stick with it for a while

thats ludacris that the insurance company wouldnt boost up your premium for changing the bumpers as it would make it more of a target for theives and also would cost a hell of a lot more to replace a cupra bumper rather than the FR ones if it ever came to claiming! if your wanting alot more power id sell up but if your wanting just bit more power id keep

the bumpers dont cost much more ive seen the price for them plus why would it make it more of a target, if they wanted to knick a cupra they would know mine isnt one!

it would be classed as a body kit if you changed the bumpers i work in the insurance side of things and i know that where i work anyway they wouldnt cough up !!!!any!!! extra money for better bumpers and not boost up premium as theyt are so stingy!! they would prefrebly stealer a higher classed model as it would would b worth more money to them! and if you put the cupra bumpers on your car gaz it would vertually be a cupra :p

wel they didnt want anything more when i asked about it so if they say that im not bothered lol well its not got nice red 4 pot front brakes and cupra seats but virtualy there lol

your from ballymeana i see you will have a hard time finding a cupra petrol or diesel over here unless you buy new or get one from england would think the diesel would keep its money better most cars over here are diesel lol you ever up round ballymoney.
