I believe this has been asked a few times before, as even the dealers do not know that paint code.

I had to match up my own colour when I customised my rear valance. I used a base colour (hurricane grey) from Halfords, and then lightly dusted over the valance with a silver spray. The match is perfect but is a little shiney. I've been told that I can use matt laquer to get rid of the shineyness!

Yep, I tried 3 different dealers and none knew the paint code!

As Mike says, gloss black grilles and rear valance could look very effective. I was going to paint mine gloss black but I didn't think it would contrast nicely with the colour of my car.

Cupra and Facelift FR grilles and rear valances come in an anthracite colour, which is painted on. Pre-facelift models come with bare black plastic grilles

the front and rear number plate holders are grey colour, just looked at your piccys and its black i have no idea why though still looks good. aimez where did you get your matts from i want cupra ones like that but dealer only seems to have the mats with the seat emblem on?

Must just be the cupra ones that are plastic bit weird thou, when I get a cupra rear bumper dunno what I'll do about that. So are we saying it is grey but comes primed new or something and you have to paint it?

Ebay someone on here gave me the link last year were only £20 and they are made to fit the ibiza and the same black as the carpet. Have them screw things you can push into the carpet so they stay. Looking at them today they need a good clean this summer!

Where you from in East Sussex out of interest?

i expect its gray plastic i might be wrong if they do come primed [no paint] there will be a paint code for them, your just have to get that back plate holder painted black too which will probally look the part on your car as its all black,im from hastings unfortunatly but hey i like being near the sea. but id prefer to be nearer the countryside more than i am.

Yeh prob get it sprayed black as well well think I understand just never heard anyone who had got a cupra bumper mention they had to paint this bit.

Hastings never really been there so can't comment on what it's like, I should start going to meets again to meet localish people but did not want to go to a pub everytime and it was always in East Sussex.

dont like the idea of pubs and driving :drive2::no:
Don't get me wrong I drive to the pub and drink coke at times but now all the meets for Sussex are in the same pub every time, we used to go to the services at Crawley or convoy to Brighton. I suggested meeting somewhere on the border of East and West Sussex ie central but I just got flamed by the girlfriend of one of the lads who organises the meets so I don't go now.

I know what the different bumpers are and that I have a facelift one as I said and that was probably why mine is painted and not just plastic. What I meant what what is everyone on about in this thread saying they need a paint code for the rear n.o plate bit wanted to know what it looks like new primed or what why do you need to spray it grey, still not really got an answer?:confused:

The Cupra/FR rear valance comes painted grey from the dealers, as do the Cupra and FR front grilles.

I had to respray mine as I modified it to fit over my custom exhaust.

maybe we should organise one in the more central area then people will turn up if put in the southern meets section of this site. then nobody can flame you for it as you put it. not to sure where central would be though.

People do turn up to the other meets just mainly East Sussex people as they meet in Heathfield. I gave up organising meets as people didn't turn up. Are you in the Sussex dweller group? If not I'll get Green Goddess to invite you (she made the group) as that has everyone who has ever come to a meet in.
Anyone sorry going off topic!
