FR Mats.....doing my nut in!

Done a search and read up on the info about it all......and so far im really confused....can't remember if i have lug holes or not..

but will anyone seen these mats before:

Do they fit an 04 plate ibiza as it says 06 on the advert

anyone help me with my quest to find decent fitting mats! which look half decent!

Same size, as a 05 plate, but on my cupra I think seat did that cost saving exercise because I have no lug holes in the car. Therefore doesn't stop the mat trying to get under the clutch pedal.

those mats with the metal plate fit perfectly on the 04 Ibiza. my cousin got them and must say the quality was impressive.

Can you explain the "lug holes" thing please?

I've got a Mk4 FR with Seat OEM mats.
The locating pegs screw directly into the existing carpet and the mats push onto the pegs.
The pegs are in the bag with the mats which have the connector things already fitted.

For what it's worth the pegs and connectors on the OEM mats are useless!
They fall to bits when you pull the mats out for cleaning.

I fixed mine with heavy duty stick on velcro.

and i did, but they wernt in the bag with the mats the parts guy had a big bag of them and just gave me a big hand full

how do you actually screw them in to the carpet if not there?

are there holes in the metal car frame to screw them in to? have to make a small incision with a knife to them start screwing in to the carpet?

yeah they look mint, its odd coz that seller is a dealer (but the mats arn't proper dealer items he said!)

I've bought 2 sets of mats from the dealers, both have come with the lugs to secure them in the packaging!

They're shite mats though, I have to say! I do low miles in my cars yet the foot patch only seems to last a few years.
