FR 20VT Suspension upgrade options?

I am looking at upgrading the suspension on my 04 FR 20VT, I want the ride to be as comfy but roll lots less!

I am going for cupra front wishbone rear bushes and new topmounts etc. I have some SuperSport suspension sitting brand new in a box, however I have had second thoughts about fitting it, its cheap but I now fear the ride will be too harsh.

What would be a good upgrade around £300 ish?

I know this question has been asked plenty, however I am still searching for a definitive answer if such a thing exists!

I am thinking about something like: Koni STR.T Suspension Kit or Weitec Ultra GT Suspension Kit. Koni is cheaper, but as good?

I'm not going for trackdays, just general driving, and BH2N (to the Ring) in September.

Any opinions would be welcome. :)

(I also have a Forge front strut brace to go on).

im running weitec hicon coil overs and the ride is comfy compared to most. its better then the standard FR suspension imo. if your after something a little lees full on then a decent spring and damper kit will do fine

I see, that's quite pricey, I'm only wanting to get rid of some of the body roll on the FR. With coilovers I will have to pay some one to properly set them up. (someone that's not my mate dave that is).

The only things that really need changing on my car are the front-rear bushes and the top mounts/bearings, but if that's being done, then it makes sense to get slightly better suspension.

That's more like it..

I will still have to find somewhere that knows how to setup suspension on an Ibiza.
Only after a 30mm drop really. There are so many big speed bumps around Cheltenham.

I'm sure I could spend at least £600 making it hadle better, but thats money from the buy a better car fund.

If you're looking to reduce body roll with little or no impact on spring rates etc try an upgraded/install a* rear ARB. If that still doesn't cure your excessive body roll try upgrading the front ARB as well.

* Delete as appropriate as I've not yet checked to see if the Ibiza has a rear ARB.

I am not sure if my car has a rear ARB. I will have to have a look. (Its a 04 FR 20VT).
Would Fabia VRS front and rear ARB's do the trick? I would assume they are a little cheaper not being adjustable etc.

Ibizas don't come with a rear ARB, thats why its a great upgrade item as it really stiffens the rear up! There is a Jabbasport rear ARB designed to fit Fabia, Polo and Ibiza but it is expensive and non-adjustable (about £200 I believe) whereas most folks on here have the Whiteline adjsutable one for about £120!

Ibizas do have a front ARB and these can be upgraded also. I believe the Fabia VRs one is slightly thicker than the FR one which makes it stiffer.
