very close to closing the deal on a FL FR 170 tdi CR with DSG.
im getting priced up for the K1 / Aero kit with the single centre exhaust.
on of my quoting dealers tells me that seat dont seem to recommend the K1 centre exit exhaust for the Cr 170...

anyone fitted this exhaust to a PD or CR 170?.....
any problems?

i understand it was desinged for teh 240 ps petrol engined car but is there any real issues with fitting to the CR 170?

also its only the backbox they fit, not the mid section or front section.

cheers

No issue at all. I have the Aero Kit dual exhaust fitted on my FR 170. After all it's only the back box. Only problem us that the standard FR with have a pre cut hole for the oem pipes but a replacement diffuser is only £30 at most, with the Aero Kit bumper it's even easily

The centre exhaust will have it's soundtrack 'optimised' for the 2.0tfsi engine that's all

yeah thats again what i thought, ok im sticking an exhaust on thats been designed specifically as part of teh K1 petrol engined car setup, but surely it cant have any detrimental effects to the running of my 170 tdi.

happy days, the spec still stands then, hoping to close the deal on this car this week and get it on order.
