I think it's good idea to put a new thread with prices.

In other thread someone asked about PCH offer I got and I copy it here, however I think it's already gone. It was in Nov 2020.

PCH 2 years deal, quote by Seat Stockport (05/11/2020):

In case, someone is not aware how to read it: 1 upfront payment + 23 payments, or 1+ 23 x £452.

"Formentor VZ2,

Based on 2 years and 8k miles a year:
1 payment £452
3 payment £417
6 payment £374

Below are costs for 2 years 10k miles a year:
1 payment £458.30
3 payments £423.05
6 payments £379.28

Minimal difference between 8K and 10K miles. Excess miles are 6.98p +Vat = 8.37p

These prices are based on solid white. Metallic is £550: choice of silver black and magnetic grey. This will increase payments by £20 a month.

Special metallic is Desire red, graphene grey, and dark camflouge, this is £800 and will increase price by £33 a month

Matt colours are £1800: petrol blue or Magnetic grey. This will increase payments by £75 a month "

I think now, the above offer is 6 x 23 x £450, so £2K more expensive over 2 years, £6,525 per annum average.

I obtained another quote for 6 +23 from Cupra Crawley (15/12/2020). They quoted on white car 419 pcm, so it's 6 x 23 x 419 = £12,151, not great, but better than £450 pcm.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Below is PCH offer for 3 years (15/12/2020) :

Duration36 Months
Initial Rental£3,094.19
35 Monthly Payments£399
Annual Mileage10,000
Excess Mileage (inc VAT)6.98ppm

That's total £17,059.19 for 3 years and £5,686 annual average.

From what I've seen, PCP offers are mostly for 4 years and £6500 average annual.

Thanks Agnes. This is a great thread. Most websites are quoting shocking prices and lease prices on some sites are upwards of 650 for vz for 2 years.

Lease prices are not good recently on anything. I paid less for Audi A8 Black Edition previously. Maybe they will improve in future. PCP is usually shocking anyway.

What's good about PCP quotes, is that you can use their GMFV to establish expected value of the car after 2-3-4 years.
So, according to quotes:
-2 years old VZ2, 20K miles, wil be worth £22,455.00
-4 years old VZ2, 40K miles, will be worth £17,268.66

Loss of value is colossal in first 2 years.

New discounts from Broadspeed. Quite decent. Maybe I rushed my decision to order straight away. My PCH deal looks very poor now.

Wonder if anyone ha sussed this company? Do they provide finance from there side or they are just middle man?

They are middle man with £199 fee. They get you in touch with dealership. You can use their quotes and call dealership yourself and ask for similar discount.

Usually, dealers up North are more keen to offer discount, than down South. Most of them deliver now anyway.

For pcp this is what their email says
MONTHLY FIGURES
If you'd like a PCP, HP or PCH Quote, please obtain a full printout from any Main Dealer FIRST. Just ask them for a quote to be emailed or posted - so we can calculate your discounted payments - without waiting days for our dealers to respond.

Just got my VZ Edition from Citygate in Slough - great service, ask for David or Nick in Cupra Sales - came with £1,850 discount, £1,500 deposit contribution, plus I took out Cupra Care (£199 for an oil change and first service) and the extended warranty (90k miles or 5 years) at £660. Took out a PCP with £11k deposit (maximum allowed so got some cash back on my P/X) over 36 months at 15k miles per annum. Works out at £410 per month and £18.6k balloon payment which feels pretty good? - APR 4.9%

It depends on a point of view, whether it's good or bad. In my opinion it's expensive and I wouldn't pay that for 3 years of driving Cupra.

Editon RRP price 43840 - 1850 - 1500 = 40,490
PCP cost 11K + 35 x 410 = 25,350 for 3 years. 8,450 per annum.
2 x 450 road tax = 900, So total is 26,250.

Citygate Slough didn't want to negotiate price with me. They were waiting for you ;-)

Just for comparison, PCH deal on 3y, Edition model, however only 10K miles per annum.
Total cost 19,682.05 and it includes road tax for the whole period. Even if you add extra 15K miles at excess cost of 6.98p +VAT, that's extra £1,256.4. Total cost 20,938.45.

Maybe, but PCH doesn't give you an option to own, and I'd like to keep mine beyond the 3 years (hence the extended warranty) as I genuinely think this will be my last ICE purchase? Suspect my next one will either be PHEV, Electric, or a very slim chance of a hydrogen unit, if they can get their act together?

I agree it depends on personal preference. Citygate Slough wasn't even considering the pre order brembo discount for me so I canceled my preorder even after showing evidence from one of the forum members. I guess now that they have stock they more are willing to negotiate on price. Lots of vz edition on auto trader as well. So I guess the 100 meant for uk didn't really sell or they have made more than 100.
I spoke to broadpseed and they are waiting for new Feb prices post lockdown to be available before they can quote for new factory orders.

I've just joined the forum and it's got some great info so thanks to all.

I've just sent off the paperwork for a Cupra Formentor V2 150ps. I made lots of enquiries and this was the best I could get. My local dealer couldn't match it. Would have loved the VZ but the monthlies were a lot more and it's for the family so will be great.

1 + 35 at £318
1st payment £2046.71 (£1728.71 paid back to me making the first payment £318)
35 monthlies at £318
8000 miles a year
White, Magnetic Tech Grey, Midnight Black, Urban Silver (I've gone for Magentic Tech Grey)
Direct from dealer so no fees
Free delivery included
I've asked for delivery in June as that's when my Kuga lease finishes.

Stockport seems to offer best deals. I got my initial quote from Dominic too, but managed to match it locally. Some dealers don't know how to get the same quote from their system, because they are not aware that Stockport is offering cashback on first payment. Once my dealer understood it, he was able to match the quote.

Since Stockport now delivers, it doesn't matter if you order locally or not. I think in past, you had to go and collect car in person.

Welcome from PH forum :)

Congrats Alex. Since you want to the car in June, what if the price or new deal becomes available in May which is cheaper , do they give you the new lower price?

Prices for PCH are usually published quarterly, unless manufacturer or finance company decides to do promotion.
I think, it would be possible to re-quote finance and amend order form. That's why I'm keeping an eye on current offers.

In past, I signed PCH contract for a car with different VIN, I didn't realise for a month, until additional documents from finance company arrived and VIN was different than on signed contract. I didn't check VIN on actual car before. So, I think it's easy to change documentation.
