mate got all the pipe work made up in work already

good friend of mine is a pipe bender no problem getting any pipes bent for free:lol:

i have a fmic now but im starting to think that the bumper is going to have to be cut to much to fit it in as the inlet and outlets are on the side.

i dont want to hack up my bumper

whats the biggest pipes they can bend? most exhaust places etc can only do up to 3 inches. cause its a custom job it doesnt measn itll work very well either, might be worth it if its cheap as you day though.

just got a prize from forge for the same intercooler that is used on the ibiza fmic kit 320 quid + vat

piping wont be a problem so might go that way.

Or maybe a laguna intercooler?

Also need a crash bar, they're £100 I think, silicon pipe work also. All of that & you're not far off getting a nice warranteed product....

you could mod the crash bar yourself easily, but as m0rk says your not going to be far off the actual kit, my advice would be save for a month or so and buy the kit, save yourself the heart ache, you will also have their 2nd to none customer service

look mate everyone who has a forge fmic will tell you to buy forge but if you wanna do your own thing good for you ive got a laguna fmic that works very well on other ibiza's so thats the route im going.
if everyone wants you to pay £700 for the forge fmic then maybe they will all chip in coz they seem to have a shed load of money

No, because people prefer a proven engineered solution, not a lash up

the 'pioneers' of the laguna fmic, all have forge ones now - what does that tell you?

I can't beleive that FMIC has come up for sale 2 days before i go away on holiday.

Such a shame, i doubt it will still be there when i get back but i can hope. I was going to go down the DIY route but changed my mind.
