i asked forge for their opinion and they obviously said their TIP had better airflow. so i bought my TIP and top intercooler hoses from them. another reason for buying direct from forge is the fact the customer service is awesome, delivery time is stupidly quick and you also get the 10% SCN discount too! :)

i dont think samco made a full set for the LCR?

Red LCR with Blue hoses. looks a treat.

Andi.. your BMC will sound lush with a Forge TIP!!

Forge for me. They are good enough to give discount and a great service to us so only fair we buy their products.

Gotta agree with the lads & say Forge! Friendly & knowledgeable staff, and you always get fantastic, 1st class service from them :funk:

Went up to Gloucester last year and had just about everything they have fitted to my LCR! Had to wait a few weeks for the red hoses though, as they are special order (most blue & black hoses are carried on stock).

About the only Forge item I don't have at the moment is the short shifter - which is on my list of "things to do"!! :p

JONNY.
That pic looks fab.
I may have to get over too Gloucester for that FMIC, S/S & Split-R.

bet you noticed the difference

Cheers! :D I'm running a standard map at the moment (will probably go Custom Code when funds allow) but there is still a noticable difference. By that I mean it feels more responsive and you get a more "throaty" engine sound at 4k revs on a cold morning.

The whole lot came to just over £1k (including a days labour) which is a lot, but the build quality of the products is excellent, and I'm pretty sure a remap will help get the most out of it :)

Forge all the way

I had this dilema too.
Spoke to Jim at Star, the only person who gets to touch my car now and he was the reason I chose forge. With the BMC CDA and eliminator fitted it all sounds, looks and works well. No problems, well made and good service.

Any free bees going:whistle:

Never mind asses or who knows who ;)

I've seen Samco, SFS and Forge hoses, I would say the the Forge ones are much better than the others - much stiffer, much thicker (more plys?) and much better finished.
