forge dump valve question

hello all i have just purchased and fitted the forge dv007 to my mk 3 ibiza cupra just taken the car for a test run and had no sound at all from the dump valve is this typical as i thought i would get some wooshing on gear changes

any feedback would be great

you only get a noise when you are putting the engine under load, so say youre driving along at 20mph in 2nd gear, floor it to around 3000 rpm then let off, thats when you get the noise, if you have a standard airbox it will reduce the volume.

i have put the engine under load but still no noise it seems no different to the standard unit does a induction kit help then if so which is the best one to get

my car is currently standard apart for a supersprint cat back exhaust i just want to get it revo remapped and a good induction kit which kit is best for the car?

you need an open air induction kit for noise. something like jabbas, or get a universal one like i did if you cant afford that.

im using a ramair induction kit bought from bill (aka ibizacupra or check out the badger5 section on the main forum page) no complaints and cheaper than the green and piper cross kits.

In regards to your filter question, have a search mate, it gets asked most weeks.

For sound from the DV though you will need and inducation kit, and most prob a remap.

You wont get scooby'esqe dumping sounds though!
