forge 007 vr's 007p

I know some of you might say to me now do a SEARCH really i have and cannot find much..or i am not trying hard enough? Just want to know is there much difference in FORGE 007 and a forge 007p d/v- i received my forge 007 yesterday and thought it was the 007p i am going to fit it to my car tomorrow - will i have still have good throttle response etc.

Where does it say 007? Forge only seem to sell the 007p on the website?

i think you are both right and its me getting mixed up thinking there is a 007 just that when i look at the 007p it looks different to one i have ? so i have the old sort then ? i will try get a pic up of the one i have.

You might have the 007pa, which has the vacuum pipe coming off at 90 degrees rather than a 007p which points straight up.

I think forge have updated the cap (by the looks of things anyway)

i bought it second hand yes sorry if sound a bit thick just that don't know much on forge d/v thats why i asked and posted that picture.Is there an old style 007p then ? if so i have old style

It looks like they have just updated the cap, I guess for easier removal. I might be wrong though!

yeah its the older style one...theres no difference apart from the cap. The new cap just allows you to get a spanner on it...good idea really as mine was tight as when i came to change and grease the spring it was a complete ball ache to undo.

no worrys mate, remember when you fit it try it out with the DV fitted both ways round. mines fitted back to front and sounds much louder compared to it being fitted the 'correct' way round. It honestly wont do any damage..me and 2 friends have them fitted like this.
