Forge 007 dv

Ordering my dump valve come pay day on Friday. I've noticed that a few members on here have gone for the Forge 007 dv. Is this the one to go for? Any alternatives worth considering?

I've looked on Forge website and it shows 2 different ones, same model number but one has an 'a' on the end? Which one do i need?

A mate at work said that having a dv can cause the engine to run 'lumpy' as it recircs the air back in to the air intake after the MAF sensor is this right? I've got a k+n in the post anyway but if the air is put in after the MAF sensor then this surely doesn't make a difference? Is he talkin nonsense?

how loud are they with a k+n? im not expecting scooby loud but is it any louder than it is at the mo?

have a little search mate but mine is loud, worth doing the n249 bypass, have a search for that,

sounds a bit dodgy to me doin a kind of DIY mod!
