Fog light on dash dimly lit when ignition on?

Hey all,

Having a weird issue with my 2001 Ibiza Cupra.
Was initermittent but seems to be constent now. Whenever the key is on, my fog light on the dash is dimply lit even when i have no lights on at all.

If i hit the rear wiper button, the fog light flickers and my main wipers come on for a few swipes.
Nothing seems to make that fog light go off completely other than turning the key off.

Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?
I have an MOT coming up and i don't particularly want this being an issue they pick me up on.

seems like this is something in the rear wiper area. wiggled the connector and wires to the rear wiper and it started working and the light went out...
It came back on after a few days, hopefully i'll be able to just make it thru the MOT with another wiggle back there.

Probably a bad ground/earth connection, most likely some corrosion. If you clean it up it should be ok.
