hey folks recently my duel mass flywheel went on my 01 cupra and i sourced what i thought was the right kit comprising of bearing, cover, clutch plate and flywheel. on arrival i found the flywheel to be solid and not a duel mass. i am having problems sourcing another one without paying dealer prices can anyone help or recommend another kit that is a solid flywheel that may fit. Cheers. also have searched and cant find anything on the duel mass on the mk3 forum. cheers again

You should get the VR6 / G60 setup, it is a smoother clutch and a single mass fly wheel so it doesnt weigh 50kg lol. It is the same price, maybe even cheaper i think. Do a search for VR6 G60 setup and you will get loeads of stuff.

yes, you just unbolt the dual mass one and replae with the single mass with the new bolts, etc. It goes straight on.

nice one mate thanks alot for the info. Just one more thing does the clutch have to be 228mm as ive heard folk on the forum talking about it having to be that size but i can only find some on ECP that are 230mm or doesnt even show a size
