I bought a flip key 434mhz off ebay, the usual story. Ive tried and tried to programme it to the car but no joy. Ive used the way explained in the manual which is the same as it says on Autodata but it just wont work.

Now on vagcom measuing blocks the flip key signal doesnt even register. Im wondering do I need a 433mhz flip key??

Im really stuck, has anyone had any joy with 434mhz keys?

What make is the key?

Basically the manufacturer and frequency need to match the originals for it to work, and IIRC, the 3 button ones don't work.

ok, all locked up, press and hold boot button, alarm will turn off and the boot will unlock.

open boot, then when finished slam boot, it will lock and reset the alarm

its a great feature

off goes Tom to look for a 3 button on ebay :)
