Flip key...434 or 433 or 433.92

Right looking to get a flip key for my car, lots on ebay, but wondering which one i should get, ideally need to just get a 2 button remote since there is no remote boot release.

now the frequency is the annoying part, i've read on a couple of posts on here of people using the 434 frequency...

I've looked at my standard remote and it has 433 on the side, so i am presuming i need the 433, looking on ebay though i see that there are remotes that have 433.92, is this its own frequency? or is this the 433 one rounded down, or is it rounded up to 434...

Kind of hard to explain but basically are there 3 different frequencies for vag remotes?

i "think" you cant use the flip keys as they are 434
i know what you mean, mine is 433 same car as yours
would be interested to see how you get on with this

It is not rounded down or up. There is a 434Mhz, 433.92 Mhz and possibly a 433 Mhz. Just find a match and you'll be ok.

k, yeh i noticed that most of/if not all of the 433.92 were audi keys, i have seen one flip key that is 433mhz but i think it is a 3 button one.
