Flickering tail light

Hi all,

So it started to rain heavily recently and I've noticed that my both right taillight LED-strips were flickering (the above ones). I removed the tailgate LED cover to see if my connectors were loose but then I noticed it was a little wet. I think some water reached the connector. I blew the connector dry and the problem was solved. I recentered my taillight too.

Is it normal for both units to start flickering, instead of just one? The tailgate unit had some wet connector but both right units started to flicker.
And is there another way to seal it better if it happens again?

Did it happen again? Mine started doing this tonight and connector had couple drops of water in it. Going to see what can be done tomorrow morning but wonder if you managed to fix the problem. Thanks

Tut Tut, SEAT designed stylish rear light clusters not properly sealed or just starting to leak, this seems to be a feature with modern(ish) SEATs, style more powerful than function!
Nothing wrong with having more stylish looking parts, but they must also remain robust and fully functioning.

Sorry for my late reply. Just came back on this forum to get back to my original posts. But got it fixed by replacing the rear wiper gasket (the one which goes throught the glass). However, it started to leak again just a few days ago. Seems that the gasket is filthy again so I'd decided to remove the wiper. I think it could be fixed by applying some silicone sealant too.
