flat spots

ive noticed that if you gun it in 1st gear then click second the car splutter for a second then picks up again, im guessing this is a common problem and would need a remap to get it sorted,also noticed other flat spots in places,

never heard of this...i know that when you're in 2nd or 3rd, let off the accelerator then back on at around the same pressure the car may jitter and this is apparently due to the timing chain or something

its weird, it feels lyk the engine cuts out for a second, and im not on the limiter, but when u hit 2nd and put your foot down it just farts tbh

oh...then i don't think my problem concerns you as i believe mine was a turbo thing

then again if yours is new then it may just need a bit of wearing in?

My car does this from time to time (PD130). You set off in 1st then clutch 2nd clutch out and the car sort of jurks and then its fine. I didnt know if it was me, But my dad drove it and it did the same think to him. This Ibiza's are like woman!. Mine has a diffrent mood each day

Traction control ?

Clutch slip ?(not from torque before all the derv heads start giggling)

Or maybe just the 1.4 factory map that is tuned for economy ?
