Flat Spot

Shaggy

Zboyd's Pimp
Decided not to take my car to the dealers with the flat spot trouble.

The Leon has decided to start behaving since last night on the way home. Had a bit of a set too wth a Beemer 325 (which did not stand a chance)
Since then no flat spot. So perhaps a bit of shite in the Air Filter or Petrol?

Who knows. Will keep you updated.

Well Shaggy,

I do not own a turbo as you know, but i can acknowledge the fact that giving full throttle to the baby on a nice long highway can be useful

Mr Saud Ben-Saud

Your ref: Flat spot
Code: CC/rs
Our ref: 020701/43657el
Date: 19/07/01

Dear Mr Saud

Thank you for your e-mail dated 27th June 2001.

We are concerned to read about your experiences when driving your SEAT Leon

So that your vehicle can be fully tested we would recommend that you return
to Marshalls of Cambridge. To allow our own Service Technical Manager the
opportunity to examine the vehicle may we suggest that you call the
dealership Service Manager on 01223 377550 to arrange for the examination at
the time the Service Technical Manager is next scheduled to visit the
dealership.

We would comment that we have no knowledge of this flat spot occurring in
other SEAT Leon vehicles. The press has thoroughly tested the vehicle and
we have received no comments to suggest that the flat spotting is occurring.

Should you wish to speak to us in the meantime please do not hesitate to
call our Freephone Customer Care Line 0500 222222, quoting our reference
above during our office hours of 8.45am - 5.45pm Monday to Friday.

Yours sincerely

Now all i need to do is convince someone my car needs a new air mass meter.

A difficult task considering the opposition i seem to be getting.

Seems that i have to now wait for a SEAT technical manager to give the piss poor dealer permission to fix my car which is still under SEAT's warranty.

hmm somethings afoot
