Hi there. I have bought a second set of 18 inch alloys to run some winter tyres. Upon cleaning the alloys today (some bbs mk2 leon alloys) I noticed a very small flat spot. My question is so do you think I will notice on driving and will the tyre seal. If it's going to be OK I won't bother getting it repaired as they will just be for infrequent use. I have uploaded some pictures. The flat spot is on the inside face. Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure that would still create a seal based on where the tyre would actually sit.

BUT as the tyres are already off the wheels, I would still say get it repaired just for the sake of safety. Probably cost about £50.

If the wheel balances on the machine you should not feel it when driving. I've ran a couple of wheels like that on the same car at the same time. In fact mine were worse than yours and I couldn't feel it.

I'd dubious about getting dents taken out of alloys. The metal has already been bent and pushing it back out bends it again. Cast alloy doesn't take kindly to that and it will weaken it.
